![]() And I'm not even going to go into the version numbers GOG.com assigns to its games. I don't know whether a GOG game should be uninstalled then downloaded and installed again. Then we would know what the "Updated" tabs on the games in our game libraries are about and whether additional content has been added, the game has been patched, or just what is going on. The least they could do would be to provide patch notes to let us know what was changed or added. GOG.com's method is so unappealing that I have dozens of games I have purchased from there that I haven't even installed yet while I wait for them to be updated. Updating is the only thing I like about Steam. Then again, if I hold off for a few hours on Monday it will give me an opportunity to save $40 in the (unlikely) chance this turns out to be another Elemental/SotS 2/Rome 2 clusterfuck. On the other, I've been spoiled by the convenience and auto-updating of Steam. On the one hand I expect it will be available when I wake up Monday morning from GOG, and Steam may not have it until later in the day. Tgb wrote:Nothing a can of Raid can't take care of. She had 9 HP left at the end and the poor wolfrider gave his last full and final measure in protecting her flank. The infantry only was doing about 1 physical damage against her per attack. It went right down to the wire but by taking out the blight shooters ASAP, I was able to squeak it out, barely. I parked her behind a big tree and some rocks and used the wolfrider to anchor her left flank. This time I also cast Seeker on her to give her no range or LOS penalties and she does a ton of damage with her bow, including cripple and bleed. I guess I could have loaded an earlier save but I wanted to try it again. Since she's a "can't die" hero, I had to reload and try again. I cast shadow form on her to give her a total of 80% physical protection but the blight shooters did her in eventually in a close fight. Sundren is level 16 and has an epic ring that gives 40% physical protection but she's weak against blight damage and they had 3 ranged blight units. They had darters, blight doctors, infantry and that unit with scythes that's got a ranged blight attack. And she only had 30 HP left from a battle that turn. Naturally on the AI's turn they attack her and there's only herself and a wolfrider in the stack. I had a wild battle last night when the 6th neutral town asked me to do a quest and the quest unit stack I was supposed to destroy for them popped up right next to Sundren who had no movement left. I'm only on mission three of the same and just got through unifying the swamp towns. Zaxxon wrote:I'm only starting mission five of campaign one

Anyone know if this is possible?I once tried to format a floppy as ext3, because firstly I wanted a modern filesystem on my floppy, secondly I wanted to make a bootable Linux disk and ext3 seemed like an obvious choice (I didn't know better at the time) and thirdly I wanted a journaling filesystem on the floppy in case I accidentally ejected the disk halfway through a filesystem operation (lol, I do that a lot even today - I used to forget to look at the drive LED before ejecting the disk, and now I forget to check if the drive noise has stopped before ejecting - I remember that the LED and the noise didn't always even tie up, and I think I used to have to wait a few seconds after the LED went off before ejecting the disk, otherwise the drive motor was still turning and I would damage the disk when I ejected it - the pressure placed on the disk when ejecting it while it's turning tends to scratch the disk inside). The City is a great land that provides any color you want, and the cost of one life isn’t really too relevant in Commander. I’d actually prefer this to be Mana Confluence to help bring the cost of Pioneer down a bit, but I’ll take what I can get. It falls into that same superb category of land creatures that Courser of Kruphix and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove are in. This card generates lots of value for you in the long game, providing you with extra land drops and card advantage as a result. The Oracle has long been a staple in green Commander decks that have any level of land synergy, and it’s a great second or third pick in the Vintage Cube. Starting off our list of cards is none other than the Oracle of Mul Daya. ![]() Unfortunately, the story is cheezy and boring. That said, it is a fun game but it is nothing like any previous metroid game except for a few key expections: the style and design are spot on-metroid, you CAN NOT skip cinematics!!! and you absolutely must be perfectly still when firing certain weapons and using certain abilities because they require you to point the remote at the screen to view and "lock-on"(required for missile-fire) This may all sound annoying but it's the basis of the game and so easy my 5-year old is pretty proficient yet it presents serious challenges for my experience level as well, which is why we're playing it together : ) Now most of the game you will be running around in 3rd person mode in a 3d, top down view world which uses unique camera perspectives to switch you between relative 2D and fully 3D environments- your primary weapon has auto-aim otherwise you'd have to enter first-person mode for every enemy encounter.(can't move) so you spend alot of time running and gunning down hallways but never once will you shoot a door to open it : ( you can dodge almost every enemy attack by quick-tapping the d-pad at the precise moment of enemy attack (not very precise, susceptible to button-mashing.) Overall the game is well worth it, a solid title. This game is based on the Ninja Gaiden engine and was developed by the same people. ![]() ![]() Faithfully sticking to the story of the NES game, Bionic Commando Rearmed tells the story of Nathan "R.A.D."
